With public health restrictions gatherings around the world, the youth-led Fridays for Future climate strike movement has moved online.

Check out the hashtag #ClimateStrikeOnline on any social media platform and you’ll see thousands upon thousands of photos of children and youth – and supportive adults too – holding homemade signs to remind the world that the climate crisis continues and needs our urgent attention.
Stratford citizens have been taking part. Have you? To join the online movement, post your photo on any Friday. Use the #ClimateStrikeOnline hashtag and also tag @Fridays_For_Future_Canada … and @ClimateMomentum too! Watch for special events and campaigns from Fridays for Future Canada and Fridays for Future International.

The climate and ecological crisis is the biggest crisis humanity has ever faced but for now (of course depending on where you live) we’ll have to find new ways to create public awareness & advocate for change that don’t involve too big crowds – listen to local authorities.
