Meet member Denise Ditty: As with most Climate related issues, it is because of our children that my knowledge, concern, and activism for the environment has grown. The world’s youth will inherit a huge and complex crisis that they did not create. As a parent, I am saddened because you only want your children to be happy and safe, to be dreaming of the possibilities ahead of them. Our youth now have dreams filled with anxiety which is why I continue to search for ways to make changes in my personal life as well as advocating for systematic change. Climate Momentum is a welcoming place and a collective of talented people working together for change. As a member of this group I can help to make a bigger impact on mitigating the effects of the Climate Crisis. The world’s youth deserve our best efforts.
