On Monday September 21st at 7pm, we’re hosting a virtual get-together for eco-minded folks in Stratford and Perth County!
We’ll share news about local climate and Just Recovery activities and also welcome Sammie Orr, a local youth climate activist who is organizing a shoe strike in Stratford for the Fridays for Future global day of climate action on Friday September 25th.
Shoe strikes are symbolic and physically distanced climate protests that are happening around the world. The shoes represent everyone attending in spirit to speak out about climate justice. At the mixer you’ll learn more about Sammie’s plans for the local shoe strike and how you can get involved!
